I just found another zero-lag, HDMI to YPbPr (component video) converter that's compatible with 240p, 480i, 480p and above. It has a standard HDMI input and the YPbPr + LR audio output cables are built-in; This is handy, but the cable surely isn't going to be as shielded as something like HD Retrovision component cables. I saw some interference on a digital display, but the interference should be minimal on a CRT. Also, it requires external USB power to work, however there's a built-in power switch - That means if you're connected to an auto-switch like the gcompsw, gamescare or SVS, you can at least leave it off when not in use as to not activate the port on the switch. So overall, at about $22, I'd definitely recommend it. More info, some alternatives and a livestream demoing this adapter after the link:

As always, price is a major factor in my recommendation. If you're looking for feature-filled, higher end DAC's, something like the Reflex Prism is a good choice. But at $22, I'm more than happy with it. And in fact, it performed a bit better than the recent DAC I did a video on, as this took less time to sync when powering on or switching resolutions. I guess the only other thing to note about this adapter, is it won't directly work with MiSTer's Direct Video mode, as I don't believe any basic YPbPr DAC will.

I did a livestream testing this and two other adapters. The one from Anber-Tech performed just like all the other cheap (but decent) YPbPr DAC's I've tested: Zero lag and works with 480p and up, but not compatible with 240p and 480i 15KHz signals. And the Radio Shack adapter was also zero lag, but had tons of issues - It wouldn't work at all with the GameCube Carby in any resolution, isn't 240p compatible and only sometimes worked with 480i. I really wanted it to work well, as I love the small form-factor...but after trying everything I knew, I gave up. Either mine is defective, or they just don't work right.
